Established in 2001, Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) is a technical institute located in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The college offers various UG and PG courses including B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA in multiple specializations.

Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology is offered 4-year B.Tech course in multiple specializations such as ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, Mechanical, Civil and Aeronautical. The 2-year M.Tech course is offered in multiple disciplines such as DE&CS, PE&ES, VLSI, CSE, SE, AMS with an intake of 120 students.

• Candidates seeking admission to the UG (B.Tech) courses must have passed HSC/Class 12 examination with at least 45% aggregate in marks (40% for reserved categories) with PCM as the compulsory subjects
• Admission to the B.Tech course is done on the basis of merit in the AP-EAMCET examination conducted by JNTU University on behalf of APSCHE.
• The application process for the EAMCET exam commences in February each year.
• Candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status laid down by the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
• Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech must possess B.E./B.Tech degree in the concerned department or equivalent degree from a recognized university with an aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories)
• Admission to the two-year MBA course is done on the basis of merit in the APICET examination.
• Candidates seeking admission to the MBA course should have completed any UG degree or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates only.
• Registration for all the courses must be done online and the application process usually starts in February each year.
